SynthID Pass

SynthID Pass is developing an independent tool to detect and remove SynthID watermarks—invisible digital markers embedded directly into the pixel data of AI-generated images, videos, and audio files. Unlike traditional metadata cleaners that only strip file headers and EXIF data, SynthID Pass targets the imperceptible watermarks that Google DeepMind's SynthID technology embeds into the actual pixel values of AI-generated content.

The tool allows users to upload and process media files (JPG, PNG, WebP, MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV) to clean AI provenance markers while understanding detection verdicts. It addresses the two-layer watermarking system used by AI models: metadata records in file headers and pixel-level watermarks designed to survive filters, color changes, and lossy compression.

SynthID Pass is ideal for creators, developers, and organizations working with AI-generated media who need to understand, inspect, and manage digital provenance across their workflows. The tool is currently in development with early access coming soon.
