Intervals run like a bunraku stage: a voice calls every entrance and exit over the music, no screen needed

About Intertakt

In bunraku, three hooded operators move a single puppet. Their eyes never leave the work, and nobody on that stage consults a clock: a narrator's voice carries every entrance, pause and exit, riding over the samisen, and the puppet moves when the voice moves.

Intertakt applies that arrangement to interval training. It is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, EMOM and round-based work that cues by sound: voice and beep cues over your music, each channel at its own volume — turn the playlist up and the cues still land. The app works with the screen off or the phone face-down, from the first beep to the last, so the eyes stay on the work, not on a countdown.

Sessions hold their exact lengths and survive real life: calls and app switches don't reset anything, and the workout resumes from the exact second. Free tier: unlimited workouts, 0 ads, 0 accounts. Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — unlimited custom plans, history, JSON export. Built with Flutter, offline-first, English and Russian. Coming soon to Google Play. intertakt.com
